Meet Margie!
I just added some more photos of Margie with her antique collar off (which is how I prefer her). She claims she is not a fancy doll at all.
She is 18" tall and fully jointed she sits very well as you see below.
Margie is dressed from head to toe in early cottons that really do suit her well. I have not made of of these types of Queen Anne dolls for a long time, as someone brought to my attention. I really do love them and I love dressing them. They have a simple yet charming look to them and grouped together they all look to me like they hold secrets.
Her dress is beautifully finished and laces up the back to the antique piece at the neck could be removed. I have it just pinned there right now so the new owner can advise me if it is to remain or not. Either way she looks good. She has a lovely pinball hanging from her arm as well and that can stay with her too.
