I am thrilled for you to meet Clara.
For sure she must be headed to the ballroom in this frock! This silk is so stunning. The photos just do not do it or her justice. The shade is a faded coral colour that is so wonderful and the aged patina of the metallic in the silk and as her trim is amazing. She truly looks old right down to her amazing petticoat with all the very tiny hand stitching that makes up these tiny ruffles.
Speaking. of ruffles, her cap has the tiniest stitching on the ruffles on her cap. The over hat is removable, as is her Georgian pinball and the little mask that I made for her to carry over her arm and of course her stunning shoes and silk stockings .......again I think she must be heading to a masquerade ball.
