I forgot to post the photos of Virginia in her wonderful underclothes and lace up corset. If you wish to see those photos, just email me and I can send them to you.
She is finally finished and ready to find a home in a collection. She sits well in a chair or could be stood on a stand.
Virginia has a great early Higgs wooden style face. She is all hand carved and fully jointed just as the old ones were. She is 22" tall from her silk slippers to the top of her head piece. Her dress is very old amberline silk and she is trimmed in very old metallic trims with wonderful patina.
This doll is truly amazing and is much nicer in person than in my photos.....but I could not wait to show her off.
